Amazon Sr. Business Analyst, Middle Mile Planning and Optimization in Bellevue, Washington

machine learning algorithms, so that we have trailers ready at the right place, and at the right time. We lower costs and reduce CO2 emissions.

We are looking for a Sr. Business Analyst, to gather insights for forecasting for Middle Mile Transportation. This position requires innovative thinking, ability to quickly approach large ambiguous problems and apply analytical expertise to rapidly mine data to and deliver insights. As part of this role, you will work cross-functionally with transportation, tech, operations and finance. Successful candidates should thrive in a fast-paced, and collaborative environment.

As a Sr. Business Analyst, you will research performance data, discover and solve real world problems, build metrics and business cases to make strategic business recommendations. We are focused on your success and want to build and support passionate innovators within Amazon's Middle Mile. You can expect to have full ownership of the projects you work on.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience

  • 3+ years of writing SQL queries and creating business intelligence reports using Tableau, Power BI experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights

  • Experience with Excel

  • Experience with SQL

  • Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
