Job Description As part of T-Mobile's Brand Strategy group, the Sr Brand Strategy Manager will provide the knowledge, skills and experiences in developing and executing integrated brand strategies. Responsibilities include the development of strategic positioning and briefs for all T-Mobile Brand priorities. The Sr Brand Strategy Manager owns the positioning, creative brief and strategic plans that inform the entire organization. The individual will be able to understand research and analytics to create content and marketing plans that are informed by audience data. In addition, the role requires oversight of campaign analysis and lessons learned. This includes developing KPIs for internal and external agencies/partners. This person will work closely with all departments to share brand positioning and vision. In addition, this person will partner with Insights team to initiate research, obtain strategic knowledge for series, and translate research finding to actionable creative and promotional strategies. Responsibilities Define and communicate strategic positioning for series and events throughout organization. Create and communicate the Creative Brief to creative teams Initiate projects, in relation to programming calendar and marketing needs. Manage project timelines in association with production management, including delivery of scripts, rough-cuts and final cuts on time and to the appropriate parties for approvals. Review and provide creative feedback to creative team of their work relative to strategic goals, concepts and execution. Pitch out positioning/creative strategies to key constituents Collaborate with VP Creative to assure creative brief is clear, strategic and actionable for creative teams. Utilize & leverage Audience Research group to strengthen strategic brief and creative work: target audience insights, qualitatively test campaign concepts and quantitative testing. Communicate clearly and in a timely manner with all internal and external team Responsible for guiding the development of the team, which includes all levels. Work with VP to assign production workload Demonstrate the value of integrating Strategy and Planning services and activities into all client engagements and ensure overall quality of Strategy work on all projects across all disciplines Manage the team's output for all work, including integrated campaigns, go-to-market strategy, customer acquisition, content strategy, user experience, etc. Pioneer latest ways of thinking for our clients Provide thought leadership for the team, company and industry at large Oversee the quality of briefs and strategic output from the Strategy and Planning team Build and grow the Strategy and Planning discipline across multiple accounts Partner with clients to identify key business problems and challenges, become a trusted advisor to the client * Develop a process for consistent delivery, building team IP, ownable (gorgeous) deliverables, and a consistent client experience Define measurement and KPI strategies to support program optimization Act as strategic lead within new business pitches for new and existing accounts Qualifications B.A. or B.S. degree, Master's Degree is preferred. 3-7+ years' experience, preferably with a management consulting/ business strategy company, branding agency or marketing analytics division of a leading market research company.
