Responsibilities

  • Tackle performance and scale issues in a state-of-the-art web scale distributed system. Analyze, debug and optimize end to end performance to improve the user experience.

  • Go deep. Be the expert on writing performant multi-threaded code, the internals of the .NET CLR and the garbage collector.

  • Deliver fixes across the entire code base to improve performance, scalability, reduce resource consumption and shorten request latency.

  • Design and run experiments to determine optimal capacity, scaling and utilization parameters.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in software development in an OO Language like C# or Java

  • Minimum of a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Design, Software Engineering, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience building applications on the Azure platform Deep analytical skills and an ability to abstract concepts Experience with architecting and developing large-scale services

  • Ability to work in a dynamic and agile environment
