Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

Responsible for designing, building, delivering, and maintaining software applications and services. Working in the areas of machine, cloud, platform and/or application. Responsible for software lifecycle including activities such as requirement analysis, documentation/procedures, and implementation. Responsible for programing a feature and or a small feature set. Contributes to the team and works with direction from Senior Team Members or management, beginning to work independently). Act as a member in Software Center of Excellence, representing the face of high-quality design and development practices. Implement new functionalities in power system application software which includes EMS (Energy Management System) and DTS (Dispatcher Training Simulator) applications. Provide maintenance of power systems application functionality, including code fixes, documentation, and user interfaces. Collaborate with system/project engineers, frontend developers and EMS application developers to implement solutions that are aligned with product direction.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Position requires a Master’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Electrical Engineering + 2 years of combined experience in power systems related work and software design.

The position also requires: 1 year of work or academic experience in power systems and/or energy management systems. 1 year of experience in software design, development and/or integration. 1 year of programming experience in C++ and/or Java and basic database operations. Telecommuting is permitted up to 50% of the time. When not telecommuting, must report to offices in Bellevue, WA.

Salary for this position is $137,259.00 /yr

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $137,259.00 to $150,420.00 annually. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 10% variable incentive compensation.
