BYTEDANCE INC. Software Engineer, Cloud Native Platform (Multiple Positions) in Bellevue, Washington
Responsibilities
- Work with the team to develop our edge platform network and maintain its stability, functionality, and capability of our infrastructure.

``` - Build Kubernetes/K8s based global edge platform to manage the company's self-built CDN PoPs, supporting workload and service management, providing L4/L7 ingress and service mesh capability, and enable dynamic traffic routing and scheduling.

``` - Build a cloud-native edge platform that provides one-stop solutions for edge services.
```{=html}
``` - Collaborate with cross-functional team members to build enterprise-level platform (PaaS) that serves both internal and external teams.

``` - Develop and Enhance microservices using Cloud Native technologies such as Kubernetes, gRPC, REST, Postgres, and Containers.

``` - Write the necessary unit test, integration test, and end-to-end test.
```{=html}
``` - Work in a fast-paced environment and be responsible for end-to-end to the production environment.
Qualifications
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience in each of the following:
- Designing scalable and high available software systems for cloud environments;

``` - Designing and implementing scalable RESTful APIs;

``` - Optimizing performance for JavaScript (React.js and Node.js) web apps running in browsers and on servers;
```{=html}
``` - Designing and implementing large-scale, distributed online software services using programming language Java, Go, JavaScript, Ruby, or Python; and
```{=html}
``` - Designing and implementing software service architecture to support high throughput and fault tolerant services.
