As part of MSP org you will be responsible for building systems that ensures we pack shipments in the right box that delights customers and is sustainable for our environment.

Lead the team to create effective, engaging, defect-free systems that power MSPs vision.

Monitor industry trends and apply best practices from outside and internal Amazon teams.

Lead the design, development, and deployment of training as part of a blended learning strategy

Partner with cross-functional teams to lead the build of development experiences with a global mindset

Solve business problems with focus on understanding root causes and driving forward-looking opportunities

Set and lead the strategy for multiple complex development projects simultaneously

Measure impact of learnings for behavioral changes needed and quickly revise modality to address specific feedback, as needed, demonstrating return on investment in training

Create reliable and valid learner evaluation tools to gauge knowledge and skill transfer

Drive use of evaluation and performance data to improve learning content and assess continuing education content and most impactful delivery modalities

Manage your team amidst ambiguity, competing priorities, and challenging deadlines

Raise the bar for learning excellence within critical verticals across the Talent Acquisition landscape

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of engineering team management experience

  • 7+ years of engineering experience

  • 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience

  • Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations

  • Experience partnering with product or program management teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy

  • Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $166,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $287,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
