Software Development Engineer (Multiple Positions), Tesla, Inc., Bellevue, WA:
Autonomously design and develop high-quality, scalable and stable web applications and/or back-end services. Follow Tesla's high standards for security-best practices in all development. Participate in code reviews by reviewing code and providing expertise on software to process. Mentor junior software engineers. Investigate and understand existing system technical functionality and propose technical improvements. Collaborate with Product, Design, and Business stakeholders to plan and prioritize new feature development. Own feature development and projects through design, development, testing, release and production. Own feature development and projects through design, development, testing, release and production. Serve as a liaison and respond to changing business priorities and requirements. Monitor live system metrics, respond to alerts, and troubleshoot production issues.
Full time employment, Monday -- Friday, 40 hours per week, $139,890.00 per year.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (willing to accept foreign educational equivalent) and two (2) years of experience as a Software Developer or performing application software development. Work Experience to include: Building software products for external customers using Java, C, C++, C# or other object-oriented language; Writing SQL-based applications using MySQL, MS SQL or Oracle; Linux or similar O/Ss; Building REST APIs; Software design, algorithm development, data structures, code modularity and maintainability; Working with .NET Framework, .NET Core, package management, and dependency injection; GIT source code control; Docker and Kubernetes integrations of CI/CD; Building scalable applications (Web applications or back-end services).
Alternatively, a Master's degree in Computer Science or related field (willing to accept foreign educational equivalent). Academic background, internship, or work experience to include: Building software products for external customers using Java, C, C++, C# or other object-oriented language; Writing SQL-based applications using MySQL, MS SQL or Oracle; Linux or similar O/Ss; Building REST APIs; Software design, algorithm development, data structures, code modularity and maintainability; Working with .NET Framework, .NET Core, package management, and dependency injection; GIT source code control; Docker and Kubernetes integrations of CI/CD; Building scalable applications (Web applications or back-end services).
