T-Mobile Social Media Manager in Bellevue, Washington

T-Mobile is the nation’s Un-carrier and the fastest growing US wireless company thanks to an unconventional philosophy built on listening to customers and breaking from tired industry norms. We’re looking for a Social Media Manager who will harness the power of social media to drive brand awareness, engagement, and position T-Mobile as a “must follow” brand in social media.

As a Social Media Manager, you will help be the voice of the T-Mobile on social media and play a pivotal role in growing our channels. With a deep passion for social media and solid intuition for current trends, you will spearhead content creation and ensuring our social media content’s relevancy and alignment to brand objectives and goals. We’re looking for a creative thinker, obsessed with staying on top of the latest trends, who is not afraid to test and learn across all types of emerging social media and take a hands-on approach with creating content themselves. The Social Media Manager acts as brand steward ensuring T-Mobile is represented consistently from a visual and messaging perspective and act as a critical thinker who enjoys working with cross-functional teams and thinking outside the box.

What you’ll do in your role.

  • Ideate, pitch, and execute unique, engaging social media content that breaks through the social clutter on T-Mobile

  • Oversee content progression of the social media editorial calendar and track deliverables on content calendar to ensure timelines are met

  • Monitoring social platforms for brand or relevant trends/keywords, making recommendations, and being empowered to join in these conversations

  • Collaborate with other Social team members to create integrated campaigns across different lines of business to help create and execute social media campaigns that align to business goals

  • Ideate strong social-first campaign storytelling (episodic, snackable, educational, gifs, video, etc.) that positions T-Mobile in a tangible, engaging and relatable way

  • Create social content assets that upholds channel specific best practices

  • Provide excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail. As the voice of T-Mobile, you’ll be expected to be a creative thinking when it comes to social media copywriting

  • Run regular metrics and build out quarterly reports to showcase growth, engagement/traction, and potential opportunities.

  • Apply expert knowledge of social media, staying appraised of trends and platform evolution to identify opportunities and ensure content is adhering to best practices across channels and the T-Mobile social brand voice

  • Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

While the quality and accomplishments of a person’s career will be the determining factor, the finalist must have the following requisite qualifications:

  • 4+ years’ working in a fast-paced, high-volume corporate, agency, or media environment with responsibility for brand social media

  • Dedicated, hard-working, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude, resilient, creative, positive, confident under pressure, strong attention to detail with a relentless focus on quality. Be the calm amidst the chaos

  • A driving passion for content creation; you love to be hands on and create video or static content or be in front of the camera yourself

  • Expert in brand social accounts such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter and Snapchat, with working knowledge of YouTube and LinkedIn

  • Motivated self-starter who can work independently, but also part of a team

  • Popular and social/Internet culture obsessed

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, Google Drive, and project management tools (eg: Microsoft Planner, Asana)

  • Proficient in content editing tools like Adobe Photoshop or Premiere

  • At least 18 years of age

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • T-Mobile requires all employees in this position to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to starting work. The CDC defines “fully vaccinated” as two weeks after the second dose for Pfizer and Moderna, and two weeks after the single dose of Johnson & Johnson.
