The US Central Marketing Organization (US CMO) is looking for a seasoned Integrated Marketing manager who can define and execute the Marketing strategy for our Small and Medium Segment (SMB). In this position you will be the CMO for the SMB segment. You will partner with the US and WW SMB sales & strategy team to recommend and drive the best SMB marketing plan aligned to business goals.

The US Central Marketing Organization (USCMO) leads B2B marketing across solutions and industries for the United States subsidiary of Microsoft.With a broad view of the business, the USCMO focuses on getting customers ready to buy through integrated marketing campaigns as well as getting sellers ready to sell by empowering them with the intelligence they need to have the right conversations and build pipeline.

Responsibilities

Specifically, in this role you will:

  1. Own demand generation and targeted marketing to SMB customer base to deliver leads to digital team

  2. Define and execute an SMB association/influencer strategy to build mindshare

  3. Recommend best marketing support to 3rd party strategic partnerships

  4. Be the voice of SMB in CMO, identifying programs that can be scaled through partners (w/ UsMaaS)

  5. Be the voice of CMO in SMB being an active participant into the SMB extended team and reporting on marketing impact

Success Criteria

Partnership – credible consultant to all parties

Target:

  • Create a Tiered Targeting Approach: Mid-market and small business

  • Ensure Connected customer flows across Partner, Inside Sales Demand Response and Vendor Tele

Engage:

  • Drive engagement strategy with SMB communities, influencers, and partnerships in partnership with CPMs and WW SMB

  • Partner with GPS and CPMs to drive strategy on customer engagement by Solution Area

  • Partner with Demand Gen team to develop comprehensive demand generation strategy

  • Lead the integration into the SMC-S MBRs to provide insights on SMB Marketing leveraging the agreed upon Business Outcomes (marketing leading indicators of success)

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 5+ years integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related work experience OR equivalent experience.

  • 5 + years of experience in SMB customers, IT, and B2B

  • You should have a strong customer focus and have a good understanding of sales organization.

  • This is a leadership role that combines strong business thinking, seasoned marketing leadership leveraging the work of the entire USCMO team and excellent sales partnership to ensure a seat at the table.
