Description

For our customers, the most important thing we can do is give them access to Earth's largest store. Our sellers and our customers are in every country around the world, and our team helps connect them regardless of where they manufacture or where they live. Our team builds cross-border fulfillment solutions that help Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) sellers make their selection available to customers across every Amazon store, with the sharpest possible prices and locally available inventory. We develop scalable systems and services, utilizing cutting-edge technology to enable world-class global logistics solutions.

We are currently looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to join our growing organization. You will get the opportunity to solve problems while working in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for driving large-scale global projects/initiatives and leading cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of exciting new and improved features.

In this role, you will be defining the technical strategy for how sellers and Amazon manage fulfillment globally. You will develop, scope, and execute against a multi-year roadmap, leveraging data and insights from our sellers and inventing new technology to deliver innovations that help sellers grow and expand their business on Amazon. You will lead new initiatives and develop and implement new ideas.

Key job responsibilities

  • Work closely with product managers, senior engineers, and software development managers on roadmaps, prioritization, and planning.

  • Influence the architecture, design, implementation, testing, and deployment of software solutions.

  • Drive alignment across teams, make trade-offs, and remove blockers.

  • Instill best practices for software development and documentation, and deliver high-quality work on tight schedules.

  • Engage with Principal Engineers to evaluate technical designs.

The right candidate will possess a strong technical program management background, can prioritize well, communicate clearly, and have a consistent track record of delivery. You are proactive in removing roadblocks, can handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, and will not be hindered by ambiguity. You will be expected to make appropriate trade-offs, clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional and remote project teams. As a Sr. TPM, you take large, complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces, develop functional specifications, then deliver them in a successful and timely manner. You raise the bar on technical excellence, show thought leadership, and communicate well to different audiences.
