Kimley-Horn Senior Project Manager - Land Development in Bellevue, Washington
Overview
Kimley-Horn is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Land Development Manager to join our team in either our Seattle, Bellevue or Everett, WA offices. As a Senior Land Development Manager, you will lead and oversee land development projects from inception to completion. Join us and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Seattle built environment.
Responsibilities
Manage the entire land development process, including due diligence, entitlements, design, construction, and project delivery.
Lead a team of professionals, including engineers, consultants, sub-consultants to ensure successful project execution.
Conduct feasibility studies, evaluate site suitability, and assess potential risks and challenges associated with land development projects.
Collaborate with government agencies, community stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
Oversee the preparation of engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates for site improvements, infrastructure, and utilities.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
Monitor project budgets, schedules, and quality control to ensure adherence to project goals and objectives.
Stay updated with local zoning and land use regulations, and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Qualifications
A bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent work experience and professional registration (P.E.) in Washington preferred
Ten or more years of diversified experience in growing and leading a private land development practice in the Puget Sound market
Business development and marketing experience including; writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgets for projected work
Strong desire and ability to be engaged with clients solving project problems and working with the team to deliver
Familiarity with Washington Stormwater requirements and local codes preferred
Must have a thorough understanding of project accounting and demonstrated ability to manage the schedule and budget for multiple projects at the same time
Has experience in marketing and supervision of the technical work of others
Has working knowledge of CADD and or civil 3D software (Civil 3D preferred), and office support software required to perform the essential functions of the position
Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a motor vehicle

Salary Range:
$120,000-$190,000
Eligible for performance-based bonus compensation
