The Microsoft Teams Platform team is looking for a passionate Senior Program Manager to define and deliver new ways to connect people with a wide range of 3rd party and line of business applications. Teams is a hub for collaboration and communication. Our extensibility model allows for 1st, 3rd, and Line of Business apps to be integrated inside of Teams, allowing end users to use all of the apps they need in a single, cohesive experience. The User Lifecycle team is an integral part of connecting users with the experiences provided by our 1st and 3rd party partners to deliver innovative and collaborative rich in-client experiences, while giving IT administrators the right management controls to customize those experiences.

In this role you will be own a broad charter that impacts end users of Teams. You will specifically be responsible for building end user facing experience to grow overall discovery, engagement and retention of apps within Teams. Inherently a cross functional role, you’ll work closely with customers, partners, design, engineering and other stakeholders to define your product strategy and deliver new experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Define the vision and roadmap for a suite of Teams Platform –to grow app discovery and engagement

  • Make this vision a reality in partnership with design, engineering, leadership and partner teams across multiple orgs.

  • Define feature requirements, measures of success, and ship innovativemeetings experiences at high quality that attract and engage customers.

  • Manage dependencies across teams to ensure that features land on time with the required scope across multiple services

  • Engage with customers, external developers, and internal developers, and triage, prioritize, and address customer feedbackforyour area

  • Regularly present new product plans, demos, competitive reviews, and more to the leadership team

  • Contributetothe overall product strategy and roadmap, as well as stay in sync with end-user features and service infrastructure

  • Track all defined deliverables from conception through launch, leveraging established processes, tools, and communications mechanisms

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of relevant program and product management experiences shipping features for end-users and developers.

  • Strong UX skills, passion for user-centered design and ability to work backwards from the customer.

  • Ability to wear many hats and learn quickly, and the collaborative leadership skills to lead a change in direction when needed.

  • Innate curiosity and ability to thrive in ambiguous andrapidly changingstartup environment. Self-starters and innovators with a positive, collaborative can-do attitude and biasforaction are very welcome.

  • Strong project management, leadership, dependency management and cross-group collaboration skills with a track record of managing complex projects with many partners.

  • Experience across the entire product lifecycle – from project inception to ship and the know-how required to lead your crew to realize your vision.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills through all levels of the organization, technical and non-technical

  • Great problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science orrelatedfield
