You will have significant customer/product impact in this role leading a team to drive innovative consumer experiences for a varied set of existing and new devices. You will be at the forefront of this growing industry, defining and delivering how humans interact with devices in the most natural way, hands-free and using only their voice. To be successful in this role, you must thrive on the challenge of advancing the state-of-the-art; crafting strong consumer experiences at the same time as pioneering new HCI experiences and approaches that haven’t been tried before. You must also be experienced in collaborating across teams at Microsoft, cutting through ambiguity and getting product shipped. The ideal candidate has a strong UX background and a proven track record delivering innovative & delightful user experiences to market.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely across multiple disciplines (design, business development, data science, user research, engineering, and marketing) to execute on our vision for future

  • Own the product roadmap/prioritization of features for our experiences and comfortable driving the development of new innovations across various Cortana endpoints

  • Lead feature improvements through iterative design, experimentation and by leveraging data to building strong understanding of customer

  • Represent your feature areas internally and at industry events, conferences, and customer engagements

Qualifications

  • Ability to effectively communicate and write functional specifications

  • Excellent analytical, communication, presentation and negotiation skills with cross-functional organizations, customers and upper level management

  • Motivated to work with and leverage internationally distributed development teams

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, possess a high energy level to react to situations quickly and decisively, possessing self-confidence to be assertive when taking a position, not afraid to make decisions.

  • BS or Master in management
