We are looking for a motivated, data-oriented self-starter to join as a Sr. Product Manager on the Delivery Service Partner (DSP) Safety and Compliance Accountability team!

In this role, you'll take end-to-end ownership for products that improve safety for delivery associates and the communities they serve. We seek a leader who can set priorities, communicate effectively, and consistently deliver results across diverse cross-functional teams at massive scale. Having the ability to solve complex, technical problems with simple, innovative solutions is a key skill-set in this role. We are looking for someone who can own an end-to-end product vertical, including design/ideation, stakeholder and leadership alignment, influencing partner team roadmaps, development of KPIs, and overseeing excellent execution.

You will be successful in this role if you can manage multiple competing priorities, often with urgent deadlines, and deliver at speed while developing a long term strategy. You will need to be a proven product and project leader and communicator, with the ability to apply analytical skills to problem solving.

Use customer feedback and analyze data to identify and solve complex problems in a highly ambiguous space.

Create and deliver a long term roadmap for tech products in partnership with multiple teams.

Establish and deliver important new initiatives with broad impact to improve DSP on-road safety.

Define and document business requirements for new product launches and enhancements, including functional requirements for technical teams.

Create new metrics to measure product performance and define success.

Clearly communicate, both verbally and in writing, to drive buy-in and adoption across a diverse group of stakeholders with competing priorities, including executives.

Enhance our current data architecture to improve data fidelity, enable scalability, and generate useable insights.

Manage dependencies and own status reporting for time-sensitive projects involving technical and non-technical contributors.

A day in the life

In this role, the Sr. Product Manager will lead product development to improve safety signals for in vehicle safety. You will spend time gathering feedback from your customers and diving deep into data to gain insight into complex problems. You will use these insights to develop short and long term solutions by working closely with partner teams and understanding Amazon Last Mile technology. You will write documents to gain buy-in and present to senior leadership for approval. Then, you'll develop business requirements, success metrics, and manage end-to-end delivery.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience as a product manager or owner

  • Experience owning technology products

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
