Chewy Senior Financial Analyst in Bellevue, Washington
Our Opportunity:
Chewy seeks a highly motivated, analytical, and enthusiastic Sr. Financial Analyst to join our rapidly growing Commercial Finance Healthcare team, in Bellevue, WA. Combining an understanding of finance and using data to make-and-drive decisions, you will perform various financial planning and analysis processes to support key strategic decisions, drive Chewy Healthcare growth, and ensure financial objectives are achieved. You will work cross functionality, represent finance in various settings and be involved in the decision-making process by providing data-driven recommendations to various business partners.
What You'll Do:
Perform modeling and analytics required to synthesize large sets of data and produce concise outputs to convey recommendation and/or conclusions to leadership
Manage the full P&L by providing weekly reporting and supporting period close processes
Support on the financial modeling of new investment opportunities and deep dive analysis of existing initiatives
Aid in the reporting and financial performance management frameworks for the business and help define key metrics and performance indicators to evaluate overall business performance
Work cross-functionally with the broader Chewy finance team, the Chewy Healthcare merchandising team, product team, marketing, supply chain and accounting to fully understand the business, its customers and overall operations
Actively participate in the strategic planning, target setting, and annual planning processes
Effectively manage numerous projects at a given time in a fast-paced environment
What You'll Need:
BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Management
2-3 years relevant finance experience with a basic understanding of GAAP and grasp of financial statements
Financial analysis and modeling skills, and experience in forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
Advanced Excel (i.e. VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.)
Ability to think creatively, self-start, work independently, deal with ambiguity, and meet tight deadlines / prioritize changing workloads
A proactive mindset, taking responsibility for tasks and seeing them through to completion
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate work
Strong written and oral communication skills
Experience with SQL coding

Compensation & Benefits:
Our salary range for a Senior Financial Analyst position is $87,000 - $130,000. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.

Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
