Job Description Performs the quantitative and qualitative analyses related to the production of short-, mid- and long-term financial plans for PSE and its parent companies, as well as analytics associated with corporate performance drivers. Leads the development of interdepartmental consensus on analytical assumptions and approaches leveraged for financial planning purposes. Upholds the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE's operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities. Promotes and supports a culture of total safety. Ensures duties are performed in accordance with all regulatory compliance obligations. Job Responsibilities Ensures transactions are validated by traders and recorded properly each day within the ETRM systems. Assists in review of transport, storage and non-standard transactions to ensure they are modeled correctly in ETRM systems. Develops monthly transaction activity reporting for external agencies including index developers and regulatory agencies. Acts as the internal point of contact for counterparty credit related issues. Performs daily transaction audit, identify material changes, verify and correct discrepancies and monitor remediation as necessary. Performs analysis of margin accounts and distributes EOD collateral forecasts. Monitors daily credit exposures, notify traders when the thresholds are being approached and address limit or restriction exceedances by formulating appropriate mitigation plans. Monitors counterparty credit health in real-time and address any material deteriorations. Conducts annual credit reviews of trading counterparties assessing counterparty credit limits based on creditworthiness and operational needs. Conducts ad-hoc credit reviews of new counterparties as necessary which may originate from transmission or resource planning initiatives. Leads effort to continuously improve the credit assessment models and processes. Works with external vendors and IT to troubleshoot issues related to credit models. Works with internal and external stakeholders to collaborate on resolving issues, developing policy and drafting framework documentation. Builds ad-hoc reports in Excel per the team's needs and management direction. Acts as a liaison between the Mid-office and trading on credit related issues. Ensures daily transactions are confirmed and all tracking spreadsheets are updated in an accurate, timely and reliable manner, meeting SOX requirements. May be required to work with legal counsel in the negotiations of new enabling agreements and contract novations. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field 3+ years of relevant experience Effective verbal and written communication skills Outstanding attention to details, problem solving, and analytical skills Desired Qualifications Master's Degree in a quantitative field or MBA Applicable Finance Certification (CFA, CPA, CTP) 3+ years of experience working in the gas and/or electric industry Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and create capacity Ability to drive solutions/decisions beyond area of expertise and proactively addres
