Concur Technologies, Inc. seeks a Senior Developer in Bellevue, WA to be responsible for development focusing on design, coding, testing, quality assurance of complex product features in a development team. Resolve complex issues within own area of expertise and support others in resolving issues. Drive topics to resolution in a high level of quality, speed, reliability and efficiency. Work closely together with others and share expertise to ensure product success. Constantly improve own work methods to gain state-of-the-art agile software engineering skills. Enhance skills beyond own core functional focus and work on other tasks for the benefit of the team. If acting as Scrum Master in the LEAN context, responsible for promoting and supporting Scrum by helping team understand Scrum theory, practices, rules, and values. Scrum Master is a \'servant-leader\' for the Product Owner and the Development Team Facilitates Scrum Events on request or as required. Coach the Development Team in self-organization. Remove impediments to the Development Team\'s progress.
Minimum Education/Experience: Position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field and six years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field and four years of experience in job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept pre-Bachelor's experience.
Position requires at least four years of experience in each of the following:
- Software development and full product life cycle, including continuous integration, automated testing, deployment and release;
- Agile development principles/practices;
- DevOps practices, observability and testing in production practices;
- PKI and data encryption;
- Application monitoring and telemetry analysis using Newrelic, Kibana, or Sysdig;
- Authentication protocols and authorization frameworks including OAuth 2.0, SAML2, OpenID, OpenSSL or SSH tunneling;
- Linux system administration operations; and
- Front-end web programming including HTML/CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript.
Position also requires three years of experience in each of the following:
- Application of Immutable data structures and Functional Programming for High performance components; and
- Debugging and profiling JVM for optimum performance.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is \$168,709 - \$206,712. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is \$168,709 - \$ 234,900. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
