In your role as “Senior AI Applied Scientist - Cloud & Industrial AI” you will:

· Conduct cutting-edge investigations in Artificial Intelligence applied to high-value industrial scenarios.

· Design and implement AI/ML pipelines, models and components that will be at the core technology stack of Siemens next-generation AI powered services.

· Work closely together with peers and partners, including software engineers, product managers, domain experts and customers to make sure the AI innovations are brought into production with agility and following all Siemens Industrial Grade requirements.

· Act as expert in Generative AI and Machine Learning.

What You Need To Make Real What Matters.

· You have a bachelor´s and a PhD degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, with focus in Machine Learning and/or Artificial Intelligence.

· You have a track record of 5+ years of experience working in the industry, applying AI/ML techniques, including development of models and pipelines, as part of the development life-cycle of products / services / solutions.

· You are proficient in Python, PyTorch (or TensorFlow), have familiarity with model training recipes and pipelines .

· You are familiar with Generative AI technologies, including OpenAI, Azure OpenAI and open-source Large Language Models.

· You are familiar with Azure Machine Learning (or AWS SageMaker) and other cloud based solutions that can be used as part of an AI ecosystem

· You have experience with MLOps / LLMOps pipelines and with high quality engineering practices across all stages of AI/ML development.

· You are a team player.

The salary range for this position is $147,700 to $236,300 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
