Job DescriptionThe Segment Marketing Manager is responsible for optimizing the communication strategy for the existing customer journey to drive broader engagement and deeper relationships. Plans, creates and/or produces marketing communications to implement strategies and objectives. Responsible for developing business cases for all of the communications needed to be deployed in market, factoring in market dynamics, consumer patterns, competitive actions, retailer/channel conflict, etc.ResponsibilitiesDevelops and implements marketing plans and business cases for the distribution of product, service and brand engagement communications. Partners with creative merchandising and advertising along with the agencies on creation of world-class advertising and collateral to develop best value propositions and overall marketing calendar elements. Partners with marketing planning and analysis on potential promotion/pricing strategies; business tracking and analysis; partners with Consumer Insights on consumer understanding, and with the product management team on product roadmap with a keen eye for the competitive context. The role requires strong cross functional partnership across the enterprise; specifically with sales, product management and web strategy operations leadership to ensure flawless execution and to create one look and feel for T-Mobile products and services. Responsible for identifying and analyzing behaviors of key customer segments within the existing base and develop programs and offers to create deeper relationships with T-Mobile. Prepare business plans, and assists in pricing recommendations for the defined Marketing and service portfolio changes. Manages all marketing communication and distribution plans to include tracking of results. Prepares presentations for various audiences ranging from peers to executive level.QualificationsBachelors Degree3-5 years of experience analyzing customer, business and industry data to drive business performance.Knowledge of financial drivers, experience in develping return on investment objectives, ability to understand high level financial models and review quarterly forecasts.4-7 years of marketing experience.
