Reporting to the Service Supervisor, the Service Technician I is responsible for delivering outstanding quality on time, implementing process improvements, and working collaboratively with Service Technicians I-IV, Service Engineers, and Technical Documentation Specialists.

This position is part of the Service Department located in Bellevue, WA and will be onsite.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

• Performing unit repairs that may include soldering, wiring, replacement of inoperative electrical and/or mechanical parts.

• Demonstrating an understanding of electronic theory and mechanical skills to troubleshoot, and/or repair instrumentation and components.

• Maintaining Standard Work, daily management routines/goals, and cross-training matrices.

• Help support a teamwork-oriented culture to ensure that all service to customer- or company-owned equipment is completed accurately according to specification, efficiently, and on time.

• Quickly cross-train on new tasks and new instrument value streams.

• Use lean manufacturing concepts to help plan and implement continuous process improvements.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• 2-year technical degree or equivalent work experience

• 2+ years of related work experience

• Proven working level of mechanical proficiency and ability to read and interpret sophisticated drawings, schematic and wiring.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $26.00 - $29.00 USD per hour. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
