Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced SAP Transportation Management resource with expertise in configuration of SAP TMS with integration to S/4 HANA and SAP Global Trade solution. The ideal candidate will oversee the technical and functional support for software product development in above SAP systems involving implementation of transportation management capabilities ensuring alignment with business objectives. The candidate will be go-to resource to Consult & support the business team for handling queries in SAP TM. The candidate will create and manage SAP project activities to implement or deploy capabilities as required: blueprints, gap analysis, end-to-end process design, testing strategy, cut over plans, training, etc.

Key job responsibilities

  1. Gather business requirements for new features by directly working with stakeholders

  2. Maintain and prioritize feature backlog.

  3. Configure, test and deploy business processes in SAP to meet business requirements.

  4. Go-to person in SAP TMS area

Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

A day in the life

  1. Configure SAP system

  2. Prepare and maintain documentation including business requirements, process flows, functional specifications, acceptance criteria

  3. Manage contractors work and deliverables.

  4. Provide production support per agreed SLA.

About the team

You will be part of Supply Chain team that owns and support Procure to Pay, Transportation and Global Trade systems

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of customer-facing product development and product management, including defining, launching, and optimizing product and services experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of agile product development and life-cycle management process

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver products and online services on tight deadlines

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $116,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
