Kimley-Horn Right-of-Way (ROW) Manager in Bellevue, Washington

Overview

We are looking to add a Right-of-Way (ROW) Practice Builder at Kimley-Horn in Bellevue, WA and will play a vital role in expanding and growing the ROW practice in the region. This position will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of professionals, driving business development efforts, and ensuring the successful delivery of ROW projects. The Practice Builder - ROW Manager will collaborate with other managers to develop and implement strategies that will position Kimley-Horn as a leader in the industry.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead and mentor a team of ROW professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional growth and development.

  2. Drive business development efforts, including identifying and pursuing new opportunities, developing client relationships, and preparing winning proposals.

  3. Collaborate with other managers to develop and implement strategies to position Kimley-Horn as a leader in the ROW industry in the Seattle area.

  4. Manage resources effectively, including maximizing project profitability and staff utilization.

  5. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in ROW, and integrate them into the practice to provide innovative solutions to clients.

  6. Foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork within the ROW practice and across other disciplines within Kimley-Horn.

  7. Ensure the successful delivery of ROW projects, including compliance with federal and state regulations, and client satisfaction.

  8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, government agencies, and industry partners to enhance business opportunities and promote Kimley-Horn's capabilities.

  9. Lead the development and implementation of training programs to enhance the technical and professional skills of the ROW team.

  10. Participate in professional organizations and industry events to enhance Kimley-Horn's visibility and reputation in the ROW industry.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.

  • 15+ years of demonstrated competency in the ROW discipline, with a focus on business development and practice growth.

  • Proven track record of successfully leading and mentoring a team.

  • Strong business acumen and ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and industry partners.

  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state regulations related to ROW.

  • Professional licensure or certifications related to ROW are preferred.

  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and project site visits.

Salary Range:

  • $150,000 - $200,000

  • Eligible for Performance Based Bonus Compensation
