T-Mobile USA, Inc. seeks Principal Engineers, Software in Bellevue, WA to Design and develop ETL/ELT data processing pipelines, data lakes, and databases to support. Contribute to the technical vision and development of T-AdS(T-Mobile Advertising Solutions) data engineering data platform. Lead moderately complex projects. Establish procedures for data sharing with internal and external stakeholders. Ensure to use accurate and secure methods to extract/transmit data. Utilize development skills to build software and unit test new systems functionality per technical specifications, with deliverables to include builds and releases. Ensure Continuous Integration and Build is in place. Present new ideas to utilize new frameworks improve an existing system/process/service. Telecommuting is permitted, but applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance. Experience and education requirements: PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related, and 5 years of relevant work experience. ALTERNATE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related, and 7 years of relevant work experience. In addition, the following skills are required: (1) Developing huge scale Data ingestion, Aggregation and Machine learning platform using ETL Design, Big Data, Spark, DataBricks, AWS, SnowFlake, and Data Lake; (2) Conducting project management using Agile Methodologies, Kanban, and Scrum; (3) Developing and maintaining Cloud Data Warehousing, Data lake using AWS S3, Snowflake, Blob Storage, and data security patterns; (4) Defining and developing best practices for Data lake modeling and Relational schema modeling and continuous deployments on AWS and Azure; (5) Developing innovative solutions for data ingestion, metadata and data quality using custom frameworks in python, spark and AWS; (6) Building data pipelines on Big Data Platforms that achieve low cost, scalable, and designed for a simplified architecture. Washington Pay Range: $200,340.00 to $223,500.00/year. The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience.
