Amazon Quality Assurance Technician, Luna in Bellevue, Washington

We are looking for a high-energy, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy Device QA to perform digital content evaluation on games consumed on Amazon’s Luna Platform.

You will manage the processing of new submissions and re-submissions to include record creation, download, install, and test digital content to ensure it meets Amazon’s high quality bar. Above all, you will play a vital role in helping us meet our game selection expansion goals while protecting our high-quality customer experience.

Key job responsibilities

  • Drive creation of test plans and test cases

  • Efficiently execute test cases across all functional and performance of game catalog

  • Interpret and report testing results, and be an advocate for quality in every phase of the game release

  • Work with development teams to define testing protocols for new features as they are designed and developed.

  • Provide additional cross- functional test support for other team members

  • Use software tools for QA, fix up and data capture on a daily basis

  • Be proactive in identify issues, deep dive, troubleshoot, communicate to stake holders and escalation of issue and providing status reports

  • Contribute toward continuous team process improvement

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ years of Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of QA methodology and tools, with demonstrated experience in an QA role

  • Good understanding of formal test case design techniques.

  • Ability to write, execute and maintain test cases for the feature.

  • Ability to clearly report defects and communicate to stakeholders in defect triage/test summary report.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $45,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $100,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
