Your Role: The Quality Assurance Specialist-Lot Release position at MilliporeSigma in Bellevue, Washington involves compliance to quality standards to meet specifications and good documentation practices. Responsibilities: * Perform daily batch record reviews and related inspections/release tasks for Raw Materials (which includes coordinating testing with cross functional teams), Work In-Process (WIP), and Finished Goods (FG) * Maintain Quality records in an audit ready and ISO9001 compliant manner * Maintain Quality tracking sheets in a timely manner to document releases, track issues and record other misc. information * Follow-up on Work Orders that require corrections in a timely manner * Maintain archive/retention area which includes filing, annual purges, audit readiness, etc. * Timely communication of quality events and/or issues that have been detected during documentation/records reviews to QA management * Prepare monthly quality metrics to report and trend Work Order issues * Accountable to work independently and efficiently with a focus on timeliness and accuracy * Support the Quality team with various administrative tasks. For example: Supplier Quality Program website searches for Certificates; Supporting Batch Record reviews for Investigations (Deviations, Complaints); Gathering data for inquiries; Pulling documents from archive/retention area for internal requests, etc. * Promote a safe and clean work environment Physical attributes: * Moderate lifting and carrying, reaching, standing for short periods of time Who You Are: Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology or another Life Science discipline Preferred Qualifications: * 2+ years of quality experience in an ISO certified industry * Proficiency with MS Office or similar software * Strong verbal and written communications skills that can be adjusted to effectively communicate to peers and superiors; ability to work effectively within a team framework * Ability to consistently exercise discretion and judgement, and independently make routine decisions on daily work Pay Range for this position - $32,000 - $74,800 Our ranges incorporate all levels and career types available within this specific role, and are derived from relevant industry market data.
