Job Description

An employer is looking for Senior Project Manager to work hybrid in Bellevue, WA. Daily responsibilities will include closely tracking project budgets, accruals, monitoring resources, forecasting risks, identifying causes for variances, and partnering closely with domain teams to ensure timelines and deliverables are being met. This PM will be running meetings and producing meeting notes & action items for team standups, team troubleshooting sessions and sponsor meetings. They will also cover all IT project reporting including monthly budget forecasting, weekly reports, monthly reports, issues & risks dashboards, and decision tracking. This PM will be assigned to the following project:

 - This person will be supporting the Virtual Power Plant project. This project revolves around distributed energy resources and aims to collect data and influence behavior of customers through their online portal. This person will be spending most of their time in meetings collecting business requirements, coordinating, getting estimates from IT, and participating in budget forecasting.

Skills and Requirements

· 5+ years of IT program or project management experience

 · Experience running application implementation projects to support business objectives

 · Background managing IT scope, schedule, budget, and communication

 · Strong Financial acumen, including budget creation and management, accrual, and forecasting experience

Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as strong leadership skills · Prior utility experience is a plus.

PMP certification is a plus. null
