STV Incorporated Project Manager - Architecture in Bellevue, Washington

The selected candidate must have experience leading several multi-discipline project teams (including subconsultants) concurrently and demonstrated ability to obtain approvals and permits in compliance with local codes, ordinances, and land development, historical, and environmental regulations. Experience working with specifications packages such as Masterspec, Spec text and/or Specs Intact is desirable. Responsibilities: Manage all elements of project work including scope development, qualifications and proposals, presentations, contract negotiations, budgeting, scheduling, staff management, design coordination, change management, cost estimating, bidding support, construction administration, cost control, project communications and documentation, and cash management. Develop and enhance client relationships; serve as the primary company contact; and deliver quality projects on-time, within budget and to the satisfaction of the client and according to internal standards and policies. Administer relevant aspects of a formal quality program including performing quality checking and ensuring the quality program is adhered to. Provide leadership to project teams and facilitate collective problem-solving efforts to find solutions to complex project challenges in fast paced environments. Achieve or exceed each project's estimated profit margin. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (minimum) in architecture. RA license, PMP and/or sustainability certification is a plus. Minimum fifteen (15) or more years of experience in managing industrial, government, healthcare, transportation, and/or educational facilities design projects. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, including proficiency in writing technical reports and project correspondence. Ability to work on diverse local and national projects across markets and have a willingness to learn. Ability to travel locally, regionally, and nationally (approximately 10-20% of time) and obtain entry credentials to client sites. Ability to perform project management responsibilities, working independently and in coordination with other team members, fellow Project Managers, and company leadership. Adaptability,resourcefulness, and ability to apply knowledge and experience to varying business situations while representing the best interests of the company. Ability to manage multiple projects with multiple clients at varying stages of design and/or construction completion. Experience with MS Office Suite software including scheduling software (MS Project). AutoCAD/Revit experience is a plus.
