Amazon Program Manager I, North America Transportation Execution in Bellevue, Washington
Description

The Transportation Execution team in North American Transportation is seeking a Program Manager to lead the analysis and execution of volume allocations to our transportation partners. This role entails in-depth analysis of transportation cost drivers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address specific areas while enhancing customer experience and optimizing transportation costs through proper volume allocations. The Program Manager will oversee the end-to-end process of program implementation, manage multiple concurrent projects, and effectively prioritize them.
Key job responsibilities
Supply chain, transportation, or logistic network management solution experience
Manage and oversee various cross-functional programs, ensuring successful delivery.
Develop and refine program strategies, effectively leading and motivating teams.
Set clear objectives for programs, leveraging data analytics to drive improvements and achieve metrics.
Navigate and resolve ambiguities in business scenarios, applying creative problem-solving skills.
Foster collaboration with internal and external partners to optimize resource allocation and project success.
Evaluate and prioritize projects in conjunction with customer needs and technical team inputs.
Bridge gaps in team dynamics, processes, and systems, preventing common project pitfalls.
Identify and mitigate risks, preventing them from escalating into major issues.
Regularly communicate with senior managers, business leaders, and other stakeholders to support key business initiatives.
Develop, implement, and oversee KPI reporting for a program portfolio, ensuring clear visibility of milestones and project performance.
Manage and communicate project budgets effectively.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
1+ years of program or project management experience
Knowledge of SQL
Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $50,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
