The Marketplace business exceeds 40% of the total Amazon.com sales and each year, tens of thousands of businesses join the marketplace adding millions of new products. Amazon's Seller Fulfillment Services organization drives the Selling-On Amazon business and develops solutions that enable millions of Sellers around the world to sell on Amazon Marketplaces. We work on solutions, software platforms and applications that enhance demand generation, enable Seller acquisition, integrate seller fulfillment systems and provide transportation solutions necessary for sellers to manage their e-commerce business on Amazon.We are looking for an experienced, customer obsessed Principle Technical Program Manager who is able to independently lead broad cross-organization efforts from the early stages through release. You will be responsible for influencing organization roadmap priorities and technical direction. You will work closely with a high-energy team of software engineers, program managers, user experience designers, marketers, customer service leads as well as internal & external product and tech stakeholders across the company. You will guide the technical direction and decisions to deliver a solution that meets Amazon high standards for customer satisfaction, efficiency, stability, extensibility, simplicity, and operational excellence. You will manage cross-functional and cross-organization communication to ensure all stakeholders are informed, and needs are aligned. This role is a good fit for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, is both creative and technical, and who is sensitive to (or understands) the diverse perspectives of stakeholders and works with them to resolve differences.This exceptional role requires an individual with a track record of fulfillment and supply chain management, experience working with product and engineering teams, experience working with multiple partner teams across geographies, and stellar leadership skills to create a vision and rally teams around a common goal. The successful candidate will have a passion for innovating, have deep technical expertise, be comfortable with ambiguity and be motivated by a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field* 10 + years of software relevant engineering experience* 7 + years of technical program management experience* 7 + years of experience in a related industry, including hands-on management of large, cross-functional software effort* Experience building processes, project management, and release schedules for Agile development teams* Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, make trade offs for quality and time-to-market, and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners.* Proven track record of delivering products in a fast-paced, multi-disciplined, distributed and often ambiguous environment.* Excellent cross-organizational verbal and written communication skills to provide status and manage expectations.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
