Help us define, architect, build, and socialize the next-generation AI platform in Microsoft, which will be used for inferencing by both 1st and 3rd party customers.   • Build solutions based on open-source technologies for inferencing ML models at scale.

  • Create and maintain a Linux-based operational stack that is world-class and can be operated in a completely automated fashion.

  • Work with partner teams to ensure the customer has a smooth end-to-end experience in creating, maintaining, and operating ML models.

  • Guide junior engineers in a technical capacity by being a tech lead for a project or area.

  • Learn about ML, its uses, its practical applications, and how it can be seamlessly incorporated into products


  • Proficiency in at least one of: C#, C++, or Java.

  • Proficiency in large-scale backend service design and operations

  • 8-12 years of on-job experiences in building medium to large-scale systems.


  • Distributed systems background.

  • Experience with creating and maintaining large-scale web services.

  • Familiarity with engineering systems.

  • Familiarity with open source and Linux.

  • Experience working with containers or RPC stacks in the past.
