Description

The Americas Delivery Service Partner (DSP) organization is seeking a principal to join our Pricing team.

As the Principal for Pricing, you will create a product strategy and execute the plan for pricing and rate cards for DSPs across the Americas. This visible role will be responsible for pricing models that drive the cost structure for DSPs in the Americas and recommend incentive strategies that deliver capacity growth and flexibility. You will align partner teams across Program, Product, and Technology to deliver long-term scalable solutions. You will be deeply connected to the data, able to look around corners, and make excellent high-judgement decisions. As a Principal in the DSP organization, you will be a role model and mentor and develop others.

A successful candidate will be customer focused, analytical, able to overcome obstacles, an excellent communicator, and operate at all levels of the organization. The candidate should be comfortable driving key business decisions, create consensus, and make recommendations based on data. The ideal candidate will be someone who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves, has attention to detail, comfortable with ambiguity, and a passion for data.

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • 10+ years of blending product and program management skills to execute strategic initiatives about process creation, standardization, and improvement experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience as a product manager or owner

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience owning technology products

  • Experience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases and communicating results throughout the organization

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $240,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
