Principal Implementation Consultant

Job Duties:The Principal Implementation Consultant position is a post-sales position that is primarily responsible for mentoring and training internal teams on Edifecs products and customer custom components. The Principal Implementation Consultant is responsible for the following: delivering technical training at customer sites as part of the customer's software release and deployment cycle;  creating detailed user and operational documentation, and solution architecture design to support the deployment of products and services at client sites; collaborating with the Edifecs Implementation Architect / Technical Project Manager to formulate the architecture, implementation strategy/schedule, effort estimation and operational plan;  creating product training to new client specific requirements, development and deployment; and overseeing the implementation of Edifecs products at client sites. Must be willing to travel as needed -- approximately 75%. No international travel. Telecommuting available. Multiple openings.

Job Requirements:Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, plus 6 years of experience as a Software Developer, or related occupation, including:

• 6 years of experience developing and deploying Java or Middleware based applications using at least one technology such as IBM Websphere, TIBCO Business works;
