Requisition Summary PACCAR is searching for talented individuals to join our 2024 Summer Accounting Internship Program! The Accounting Internship Program will place selected candidates in our Accounting Teams in Bellevue, WA. We are pleased you are seeking an internship with PACCAR and wish you the best of luck! Internships include unique learning opportunities such as: Learn first-hand from the industry's top professionals Work directly with Senior Managers and Controllers Develop mentoring relationships with experienced accountants Gain valuable hands-on experience The internship is scheduled to begin in May or June 2024. Job Functions / Responsibilities Assist in month-end closing procedures including reconciliation, journal entries, and reporting Preparation of quarterly SEC filings, accounts payable, and accounts receivable Provide financial analysis that supports company decisions Participate in additional projects designed to make company operations more effective and efficient Skills / Competencies Proficient in Microsoft Office Basic knowledge of Excel functions Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to multi-task Resourceful and a self-starter Strong professionalism Analytical and critical thinking Sense of urgency Education Pursuing undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or other related fields.
