Part-Time Occupational and Life skills (OLS) Work and Life Coach Job ID: 13848 Location: Bellevue College Full/Part Time: Part Time Regular/Temporary: Regular Position Summary The Work and Life Coach (WLC) plays a vital role in nurturing the overall growth of OLS students, imparting crucial skills for both personal and professional advancement. Responsibilities include delivering comprehensive support and coaching in diverse environments, in line with the OLS skills development model. Before making decisions, the incumbent will consult with their supervisor. This role reports to the OLS Internship Program Manager, who in turn reports to the Associate Dean. Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule Position Salary Range: $1,860.63/month- $2,604.90/month The salary information shown above is a general guideline only. The salary will be determined based on candidate's qualifications and related experience, as well as market and business considerations. Typically, new hires start no higher than $2,046.70/month based on Bellevue College Exempt salary schedule. This position is expected to NOT be eligible for benefits because eligibility is limited only to employees working at least an average of 80 hours in eligible employment for more than 6 consecutive months and at least 8 hours a month. Essential Functions Student Coaching Support-Workplace/Internship Skills • Meets 1:1 with interns on a regular basis to guide students through stages of the internship experience including on-site education, preparation, work, and reflection. • Provides consultation to internship business by promoting natural supports, negotiating reasonable accommodations and educating on and advocating for diversity in the workplace. • Acts as a liaison between intern and internship business partner maintaining business relationships. • Advises and instructs students in soft skills, self-determination and critical thinking required for success in the workplace. • Collaborates weekly with the int
