Bellevue Community College Part-Time Assistant Teacher in Bellevue, Washington

Part-Time Assistant Teacher Job ID: 11779 Location: Bellevue College Full/Part Time: Part Time Regular/Temporary: Position Summary The part-time assistant teacher will assist at the Early Learning Center (ELC) in classrooms on a regular basis during assigned hours needed by the center. This individual will also assist childcare center staff in the duties required to provide a safe, healthy, developmentally appropriate environment for young children. Pay rate: $20.00/hr - $25.00/hr The successful candidate is expected to work 20 - 40 hours per week. This position typically assigned as needed on a quarterly basis, with no expectation of continued employment beyond the current appointment. The temporary hourly employment does not exceed 1,050 hours in any 12 consecutive month period from the original date of hire. Temporary hourly employees who work more than three hundred fifty (350) hours in a twelve consecutive month period may be subject to provisions of one the collective bargaining agreements covering Classified employees at Bellevue College. This position is expected to NOT be eligible for benefits because eligibility is limited only to employees working at least an average of 80 hours in eligible employment for more than 6 consecutive months and at least 8 hours a month.
