Robert Half is partnering with a local law firm in the Greater Seattle Area to identify a Paralegal who is ready to jump in to assist and possibly join their close-knit team. This position is contract, with potential for extension/conversion into a permanent role.

Location: Greater Seattle Area

Pay Rate: $26-32 per hour DOE

Duration: 3+ month contract, with a potential for contract-to-hire

Schedule: M-F, 8am-5pm

Responsibilities:

• Manage cases to ensure efficient and effective progress

• Handle discovery duties to gather and analyze relevant information

• Draft motions to advance legal proceedings

• Manage the calendar to organize and schedule meetings or deadlines

• Communicate with clients to discuss case details and updates

• File legal documents to ensure they are correctly stored and easily accessible

• Use case management software to track and manage cases

• Prepare briefing notes to provide detailed information on cases

• Use your knowledge of family law and litigation to handle relevant cases and tasks.

  Requirements

• 3+ YOE in Family Law as a paralegal

• Discovery

• Draft legal documents including motions

The salary range for this position is $26-32/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
