Outreach Coordinator (Student Only) Job ID: 14098 Location: Bellevue College Full/Part Time: Part Time Regular/Temporary: Temporary Position Summary The Sustainability Outreach Coordinator acts as an ambassador to the BC community by introducing sustainable opportunities and initiatives and helping foster a sustainability-oriented campus mindset. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of sustainability projects, that include but are not limited to event planning, report creating, classroom talks, and communicating with staff, faculty, and students. We are looking for a well-rounded student who is interested in sustainability and climate justice and is willing to learn on the job. You will be joining a team of two full-time employees, a part-time employee, and another student employee. The team works very closely throughout the year and collaborates on projects. The Sustainability Coordinator will be the primary liaison between students and the opportunities and resources offered by the Office of Sustainability. This position typically assigned as needed on a quarterly basis, with no expectation of continued employment beyond the current appointment. Projected end date is June 30th, 2025, with the possibility of extension through summer quarter. The temporary hourly employment is limited to the earlier of 1,050 hours or 12 consecutive months beginning from the original date of hire. Temporary hourly employees who work more than three hundred fifty (350) hours in a twelve consecutive month period may be subject to provisions of one the collective bargaining agreements covering Classified employees at Bellevue College. This position is expected to NOT be eligible for benefits because eligibility is limited only to employees working at least an average of 80 hours in eligible employment for more than 6 consecutive months and at least 8 hours a month.
