Salesforce Inc. seeks MTS Software Engineer in Bellevue, WA:
Job Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Design, implement, test, and deliver a highly scalable fleet management system for Salesforce database backups and data protection. Write high quality and secure code to improve data protection workflows in Salesforce's native datacenters to ensure high availability, security, and disaster recovery of customer data. Create and deploy pipelines to release data protection software to AWS public cloud infrastructure. Manage Kubernetes clusters to run containerized data protection services in a distributed systems settings in both native and public cloud. Develop test strategies, design automation frameworks, write unit tests to drive up code coverage and automation metrics. Participate in code reviews and design discussion to improve software quality. Telecommuting is an option.
Minimum Requirements: Master's degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and one (1) year of experience in the field of software engineering/program analysis or one (1) year of experience in the job offered.
A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any field)).
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Python (1 year); (2) C; (3) Java (1 year); (4) SQL (1 year); (5) HTML; (6) CSS; (7) JavaScript (1 year); (8) Angular; (9) REST; and (10) Agile/Scrum. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option.
Salary: $128,502.00 - $172,800.00 per annum.
