THE ROLE

The Marketing Assistant is a highly impactful role that supports the entire marketing department with the coordination and completion of general tasks, such as data input, reporting, analysis, process improvement, and other tasks as assigned ? like doing a cameo in a YouTube video or building goodie bags for customers. Flexibility is a must as project priority can shift quickly which is all part of the fun! We have new ideas, frequently experiment with new tactics, and this role is centered around driving marketing tactics to completion.

This position requires superb organizational skills and bullet-proof reliability in an environment similar to a start-up. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with daily operations, including CRM database maintenance and reporting

  • Execute tasks to support marketing projects

  • Provide exceptional, timely service to all customers and vendors

  • Assist with website maintenance and reporting

  • Use competitive and audience research to discover new marketing opportunities

  • Manage and maintain CRM data, including receiving and tracking incoming emails and calls

  • Analyze marketing metrics and understand marketing campaign data

  • Support the marketing team by completing tasks as assigned by supervisor

  • Work well with other team members in a timely, courteous manner

  • Assist with projects in other departments as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Self-motivated, with a roll-up-your-sleeves work ethic and willingness to take the initiative and make things happen

  • Trustworthy, honest, credible, and hard-working

  • Creative, high energy, innovative, proactive, and resourceful

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects with various timelines at once

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize projects, problem solve, and manage time effectively

  • Consistent, accurate attention to detail

  • Works comfortably under pressure

  • Good understanding of marketing principles including SEO, SEM, email marketing, events, etc.

  • Excellent project management and communication skills

  • Thrives in a demanding, fast-paced environment

  • Ability to perform basic HTML editing of marketing emails and website

  • 1+ year of previous experience as a Marketing or Administrative Assistant, or similar

  • Experience with CRMs and Marketing Automation systems

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required

  • Experience with Dynamics 365 and Marketo

  • Experience in the technology industry

  • Bachelor?s degree, associate degree or equivalent experience

  • Consistent history of work experience from a variety of capacities
