We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, Product & Technology, to support our Accounting & Finance Systems Technology team to join us. The ideal candidate will possess a mix of a technical and business strength, with a consistent record in finance transformation and delivering outcomes for business partners. Responsibilities for this role include leading the design, development and implementation of technology solutions that improve our financial operations and support our strategic goals for T-Mobile's Finance & Accounting Business Partners. The role will most often lead teams of 5 - 10 FTEs, as well as indirectly leading some onshore and offshore contracting companies. Further, this People Leader role is also responsible for attracting, hiring, retaining a high performing, full stack, team of Product Managers, Software Engineers, and other members of technical staff to support our various products and platforms. This role is also directly accountable for developing strong and positive relationships outside your direct teams with our business partners, cross functional organizations, and supporting vendors. Job Responsibilities: Lead the design, development and implementation of finance and accounting technology solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. Collaboration with accounting and finance partners to identify technology needs and develop strategies to address them. Drive finance transformation initiatives, using technology to streamline processes and improve decision-making. Partner with business leaders to understand their needs and provide technology solutions that contribute and support their objectives. Lead a team of finance technology professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure successful project delivery. Stay current with industry trends and standard processes in finance and accounting technology, and apply this knowledge to drive continuous improvement. Effectively leads product and engineering team to achieve results by providing appropriate direction, timely developmental feedback and mentor, and conducting performance reviews and conversations. Monitors and measures work tasks to ensure results are provided on time and within budget. Manages both technical relationships with assigned vendors, including driving features and function requests for inclusion in future product releases. Drives continuous development practice improvements across technical subject areas (e.g. team structure, roles, processes, tooling, security & compliance). Interviews and hires qualified team members, striving to improve T-Mobile bench strength and augmenting product or project teams with contract staff when required. Education: Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent experience.
