Beacon Hill Staffing Group Junior Accountant in Bellevue, Washington
Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our esteemed client in Bellevue. As a Junior Accountant, you will collaborate closely with senior accounting professionals, gaining valuable hands-on experience in various accounting tasks. Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Help manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Conduct regular audits of financial data to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Provide support in preparing tax returns and other financial documents.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Effective teamwork and clear communication skills.
- Prior internship or entry-level experience in accounting is a plus.
