Position Summary
The Information Technology (IT) and Cybersecurity departments at Bellevue College are seeking applications for an ongoing pool of applicants interested in teaching Information Technology and/or Cybersecurity. Individuals can request teaching assignments within our Associate in Applied Science - Transfer Degree (100 level to 200 level) and/or our Bachelor of Applied Science (300 level to 400 level) offerings on a part-time basis. Depending on qualifications, new adjunct faculty may be assigned to teach in one of two degrees and/or certificate areas. Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule
Adjunct Professor is typically assigned as needed on a quarterly basis, with no expectation of continued employment beyond the current appointment.
Quarterly remuneration for 5-credit lecture class is $5,716.52 - $6,968.62. Compensation is prorated based on type and duration of assignments. Individuals newly hired to Adjunct Professor group at the college are placed at the minimum rate per union bargaining agreement. Hired applicant may receive additional compensation in the form of stipends for additional assignments or participation in certain projects.

Part-time faculty with 50% or more load is represented by the Bellevue College Association of Higher Education (BCAHE) union.
