Amazon Fuel Program Administrator , North America Suface Transportation (NAST) in Bellevue, Washington

Join us and help execute the fuel strategy behind Amazon Surface Transportation, supporting all heavy-duty ground and yard operations across the Amazon network! We are hiring a Program Administrator to support the fuel programs that help us meet our commitment to powering our delivery network with lowest carbon fuel available.

Amazon is seeking a detail-oriented person to support strategic vendor relationships, diving deep into invoice and purchasing patterns to help inform key decisions in fuel card program.

This position will work at Amazon's headquarters in Bellevue, WA or in Nashville, TN

Key job responsibilities

• Support nationwide transportation network in a safe, customer-focused manner

• Develop and design solutions to difficult problems.

• Manage outside contractors and vendors

• Handle multiple projects and daily activities, meet deadlines, and develop plans on how to accomplish departmental and distribution goals

• Ensure that all programs and procedures are followed, develop and maintain invoice tracking and fuel card escalations while developing good working relationships with partner teams

• Help set, develop, and track budgets with key vendors supporting Amazon Operations.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of professional or military experience

  • 1+ years of working with computers and Microsoft Office products and applications experience

  • High school or equivalent

  • Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach

  • Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required

  • Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays

  • Are 18 years of age or older

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience with end-to-end project management

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $35,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $84,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
