PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

To achieve the next level of success, the Concur Controlling Team is seeking a motivated finance professional to provide operational support to the Americas region. This position will act as a key partner to the head of Concur Americas Sales. Our teams key responsibilities include serving as stewards, business partners and transformation agents to the organization. In this role, we provide a dedicated business partnering model to provide financial business insights, long term financial planning, support on new business models and business cases as well as investment and strategic planning.

The right team player for this role brings strong business acumen, a passion for operational excellence, great attention to detail, proven ability to work with senior leadership and an ability to connect with people across the organization.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

The main mission of this function is to drive business impacts via financial and operational analysis for the purpose of optimizing the financial performance of Concur Americas, with a primary focus on business modeling, process improvements and strategic financial planning. The successful candidate in this position is counted on to be the go-to expert for quantitative and qualitative analytics. This role works up and down the organization as well as liaising with board area and regional. It entails:

  • Coordination of the annual planning and forecasting process

  • Ownership and accountability for ensuring a well communicated and consistent planning process across different stakeholders and dimensions

  • Liaison with GTM and compensation

  • Provide financial insight to leadership and summarizing financial performance in a clear and concise way during forecast.

  • Serve as the key point of contact for Regional and Line of Business Controlling teams

  • Partner with Sales Leadership to develop long-term targets

  • Partner with key stakeholders to improve operational and reporting processes

  • Quarter end reporting and analysis for leadership

  • Provide strategic financial analysis on Sales-related KPIs (bookings, pipeline, etc.)

  • Drive cross-functional projects e.g. reporting automation and enhancement

  • Conduct ad hoc analytics as needed

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills

  • Strong process management and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment for a global company

  • Ability to coordinate and orchestrate across the organization

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to present analysis to senior leadership

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Strong Finance, Accounting and Financial Planning experience
