Amazon Engagement Marketing Manager, Flex Driver Engagement in Bellevue, Washington

With Amazon Flex, individuals can now be their own boss delivering Amazon packages.

We are seeking a Marketing Manager, for Amazon Flex, to help drive Engagement of our delivery partners in the US. This is a high impact and exciting role, which involves end to end ownership of delivery partner engagement strategy. In this role, you will be responsible for leveraging qualitative and quantitative driver insights and launching marketing campaigns across communications, incentive and loyalty to drive targeted engagement of our driver partners.

Our ideal candidate is both creative and analytical. You are an expert user of marketing technology and automation tools, and have experience working with cross-functional stakeholders to build and manage multi-channel digital campaigns (e.g. email, mobile, app) that drive business performance. You are passionate about owning programs, testing and learning, scaling to create impact, and delivering results. You’ll use customer insights to develop a segmentation and targeting strategy, and rigorously test channel and media performance to drive app download, account creation and first package delivery. You will leverage your expertise to influence strategic plans, work tactically to execute them, and build mechanisms to communicate and work across teams. You are able to see the greater picture of how their scope impacts both upstream and downstream processes, and they excel at making data-driven decisions that impact key stakeholders. You are customer obsessed and focused on delivering results with clear ROI. You demonstrate an ability to clearly communicate ideas and strategies, especially through written communication. You are an analytical thinker who loves solving problems. Experience in Excel is also required.

Key job responsibilities

  • Define the strategy and manage the full lifecycle of drivers using communications channels (Emails, SMS, Notifications, Website).

  • Develop scalable marketing levers and define a playbook for tailoring these to specific regions and business. Nurture high-potential delivery partners with personalized engagement across the lifecycle.

  • Evaluate and recommend product features based on market research and A/B testing of campaign to enhance aiming, personalization, impact and measurement.

  • Work at the strategic level to champion bold and creative ideas and at a tactical level to ensure execution of excellence of plans.

  • Analyze engagement metrics and develop strategic plans to improve lift for marketing levers.

  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives and marketing improvements based upon Voice of Driver insights.

  • Analyze and define key objectives, to drive business Director/VP goals, specifically Disengagement, Retention and Pool Health by building short term solves and long-term strategies.

  • Contribute to cadenced reporting and narratives (e.g., WBR, MBR, QBR, etc.) and present them effectively to senior leaders.

  • Earn Trust with cross-functional teams such as Operations, Capacity Planning, Product, WW Marketing and Science teams to ensure solutions and strategies have alignment and investment.

  • Define the implementation plan and create measurements/entitlements for initiatives.

  • Deep-dive and uncover problems that have not yet surfaced to drive process improvements.

  • Influence and shape product strategies and roadmap based on market insights and experience.

  • Lead development of target audiences, and positioning and narratives to support those audiences based on data and insights.

  • Develop detailed campaign plans, including campaign goals, messaging, call to action, marketing distribution channels, follow-up activities, and success metrics.

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs

  • Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting for demand generation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $72,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $155,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
