Here's how a District Human Resources Director for our Seattle office contributes to our team:

Responsibilities

  • Leads development, execution, and monitoring of district HRPD strategy and key performance indicators (KPIs) in alignment with district and company strategic plans and priorities. Leads communication plan rollout to key stakeholders and participates in sector HRPD strategic planning process.

  • Leads the communication and change management plan associated with the implementation of HR programs, policies and practices and evaluates their effectiveness. Accountable for ensuring district practices comply with corporate policy and legislation. Provides guidance and coaching to HR staff and district management of HRPD programs, policies and legislation

  • Oversees, executes, and influences the career management program in the district to ensure retention, development, and engagement of district talent, including assessments.

  • Guides and coaches supervisors through progressive discipline process for all positions, including the development and delivery of performance improvement plans and/or progressive disciplinary strategies on employee relations issues up to and including termination.

  • Responsible for overall accountability, execution and integrity of recruitment and onboarding programs. Utilizes appropriate recruitment sourcing strategies and develops strategic industry contacts to build a candidate pipeline.

  • Leads complex investigations, including risk assessment, communication/implementation of recommended outcomes/decisions. Consults with key stakeholders and complies with reporting requirements.

  • Provides coaching and support to supervisors and senior managers on succession-planning process and resulting plans.

  • Leads implementation, evaluation, and measurement of corporate and regional initiatives.

  • Responsible for overall compensation plan.

Qualifications

  • Seen as a trusted advisor with superior relationship management skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.

  • 8+ years of progressive human resources experience with 3+ years supervisory experience managing HR professionals.

  • Ability to effectively manage entry- to mid-level, seasoned human resources professionals.

  • Able to apply advanced HR knowledge to define best practices and procedures.

  • Advanced application of relevant employment legislation.

  • Advanced experience in training, facilitation, and in managing complex facilitated sessions.

  • Has demonstrated experience executing employment investigations.

  • Proven ability to lead teams through significant change management initiatives.

  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and HR systems.

The salary range for this position is between $136,000.00 and $150,000.00 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
