Microsoft Corporation Director of Web Program Management and Business Intelligence in Bellevue, Washington

The Global Demand Center (GDC) Cloud Marketing team has a vision to create world class websites by inspiring, educating, and supporting customers throughout their digital experience. We are a fast-paced group with a focus on getting things done, simplifying anything and everything, and having fun doing it. You will be in the middle of it all, helping to make decisions that impact customer experiences, acquisition funnels, and global web experiences.

This role will own and drive strategic, operational, and tactical initiatives aimed at transforming our Cloud web program management and business intelligence teams by planning, designing, operating, and managing our end-to-end project management and web governance programs. This team is looking for an experienced professional with excellent analytical skills and strong business acumen to develop and implement program management disciplines, demand and supply planning tools, and mechanisms in a fast-paced and innovative environment with global remit. This role requires someone with strong relationship building skills who will work with stakeholders on strategic planning/projects across multiple stakeholder teams.


Web Strategy & Insights

  • Customer-centric, innovative mindset who can translate data and insights, trends, and gaps into transformational web business opportunities for our direct business

  • Translates voice of the customer data and insights into compelling, customer-driven strategies that impact personalization, experimentation, and growth workstreams.

  • Leads high-impact, cross-team web projects to meet our evolving business environment and ensure our team is achieving its web commitments in support of business goals/OKRs.

Program Management Leadership

  • Demonstrates a highly collaborative style with the energy, maturity, leadership and influence web strategy discussions at both the strategic and tactical levels.

  • Expert program leadership skills to manage multiple and cross-site, executive-level personalization, direct, and business/web strategy initiatives

  • Owns resource management of vendor web team, including OpEx spending to achieve fiscal goals, prioritizing high-impact, high priority web needs that serve top business objectives.

  • Demonstrates a highly collaborative working style at both the strategic and tactical levels to work across key stakeholders up and downstream of the web team

  • Helps facilitate Rhythm of Business for commercial web team cadence across customer service areas.

Capacity Management

  • Manages multiple web program management teams across, Business Applications, M365 & Teams, and Security sites under a single, cohesive operating model

  • Optimizes programs and internal processes that drive increased speed-to-market, agility, and team overall productivity


  • 10+ years of digital experience and/or Program Management and/or Strategic Consulting.

  • History of driving operational discipline as well as innovation.

  • Experience and deep knowledge within Web Marketing & Web Direct, Business Planning and/or Sales & Marketing Operations.

  • Executive exposure and experience in cross-functional stakeholder management.

  • Experience in vendor resource management.

  • Expert at driving process optimization.

  • Has translated end-to-end data analysis into actionable, strategic insights and next steps.

  • Strong collaborator with proficiency in bridging gaps between multiple partner teams and a demonstrated ability to influence without authority.

  • Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and drive solutions within complex projects spanning multiple stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated experience leading, influencing and managing people and teams, while fostering a healthy and productive work environment.

  • Comfortable working across multiple, cross-dependent timetables successfully in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
