Salesforce is hiring a data insights specialist to join the corporate communications team. We're looking for a professional with a background in communications/PR and data analytics, project management experience, and executive presence.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Support data insights across global communications, including PR, Newsroom, Content/Campaigns, Employee & Executive Comms.

  • Understand the role of data insights within business decision-making, across earned, owned, paid and employee-focused content.

  • Constantly look for opportunities to evolve our measurement approach from outputs to outcomes.

  • Design & conduct focused, quick-turn research and convert the findings into data-driven recommendations for our communications team.

  • Develop processes to ensure the consistent and accurate reporting of Communications results.

  • Be an outstanding administrator, skilled at handling multiple tasks simultaneously and working well under pressure.

  • Effectively guide work managed by others and connect with team members, sharing project timelines and adapting to shifting needs.

Required skills:

  • 2-4 years of corporate experience in communications and/or data insights

  • Ability to present insights in a clear and concise way to team members

  • An understanding of the interplay between earned, owned and paid channels

  • Experience with media monitoring tools (Talkwalker, Signal, Meltwater, etc) and/or web/email analytics tools (GA360, ExactTarget, etc)

  • Self-starter who is comfortable running their work autonomously

  • Creative problem solver who isn’t afraid to do things differently

  • Appetite to perpetually learn, grow & stretch in your role
