TikTok Inc. Data Engineer (Multiple Positions) in Bellevue, Washington
Responsibilities
- Design, construct, test, and maintain robust, reliable, and scalable data pipeline and services.
- Investigate and integrate up-and-coming big data technologies into existing requirements.
- Install/update system and component fault-tolerant procedures.
- Employ an array of technological tools to integrate with 3rd-party data systems.
- Collaborate team members (e.g., data administrators, data scientists) on the project's goals.

Qualifications
Must have a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Machine Learning, Data Science, Business Analytics, Operations Research, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, and 1 year of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Machine Learning, Data Science, Business Analytics, Operations Research, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, and 3 years of related work experience.
Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience in each of the following:
- Designing and modeling data warehouse to support data analytics, reporting, and data applications;
- Implementing data warehouse and ETL processes using Hive, Spark, Hadoop, or SQL Server to optimize the data processing performance;
- Programing using SQL, Python, and Java;
- Estimating SLAs for the data pipeline, and triaging and debugging data infrastructure issues; and
- Building data services or applications using data query engines HBase, Elastic Search, ClickHouse, or SQL Server, and optimizing the query performance.

Salary Range: $137750 - $237500 per year
