Express is recruiting for a Construction Superintendent for a building company located in Bellevue. This is a direct-hire position. In this role, some responsibilities will include overseeing and coordinating the onsite, day-to-day activities for multiple residential construction projects from start to finish, ensuring that schedules are followed, safety standards are met, and quality metrics are attained. Construction Project ManagerLocation: Bellevue, WAPay: Earn up to $100,000 per year, depending upon experience.Schedule: Monday-Friday: 8:00am-5:00pm but may change as needed. The candidate will need to be on call as needed What you get to do: -Models and reinforces actions and behaviors consistent with the Company's values, mission, and culture-Leads and manages subcontractors (Including field crews and any field related questions) to ensure adherence to the production schedule-Schedules and coordinates labor, subcontractors, and materials to complete onsite projects in logical steps and budgets the time necessary to meet each deadline -Ensures adherence to the budget and schedule, and when issues arise, makes quick and/or necessary updates-Oversees and directs activities regarding the construction and maintenance of assigned structures, facilities, and systems-Ensures safety standards and guidelines are followed on the job site and that all safety codes are met in construction-Collaborates with subcontractors to resolve problems, including work procedures, complaints, and construction issues-Collaborates with design professionals on design options and with customers on customization options during the pre-sale process-Interfaces professionally and ensures good relationships with a variety of people, including owners, managers, customers, subcontractors, designers, tradespersons, and laborers-Travel to different job sites-Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned What you need to be successful:-A bachelor’s degree in construction science or Construction Management is strongly preferred-A minimum of 5 years of residential construction management experience with a high-volume residential builder-Ability to remain flexible and efficient in a fast-paced environment-Ability to problem solve residential single-family construction issues and answerconstruction-related questions without assistance-Flexibility to be on call as needed to address issues such as delays, emergencies, and other issues at the job site-Ability to work well under pressure, multitask, and re-prioritize workload as it changes-Ability to review and accurately interpret engineering, architectural and other construction drawings-Some fluency with Spanish is preferred, including the ability to read, speak and write-Hands-on residential construction experience in some capacity is strongly preferred-Valid WA State Driver’s License-Acceptable driving record and proof of vehicle insurance-Ability to lift 60 pounds occasionally-Excellent interpersonal as well as verbal and written communication skills-Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite-Proficiency in Builder Trend software with a minimum of one year or more experience with the software-Experience in Bluebeam is a plus-Hands-on residential construction experience in some capacity is strongly preferred-Ability to traverse and inspect all areas of a job site in all types of weather; this may include ascending and descending stairs and positioning oneself in various ways to inspect confined or difficult to reach spaces or areas-Ability to review and accurately interpret engineering, architectural and other construction drawings Does this sound like the
